Martin Mosko, founder and principal of Marpa Design Studio, will give a comprehensive review of how to design rock arrangements in the garden.  He draws on over 30 years of experience designing award-winning gardens throughout the U.S. to explain how to choose boulders and how to place them, as well as offering some intriguing ideas on building rock walls and pathways.  He will translate some of the most ancient theory on rock-setting into our modern context.

Mosko was named as one of “Ten to Watch” by Building Stone Magazine for his rock work.  He is the co-author of “Landscape As Spirit: Creating a Contemplative Garden”, a classic of garden design.  His work has been featured in numerous national and international magazines and books, and is covered in depth in the film “Garden of Infinite Compassion”.
